MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE

The Membership Committee is responsible for ensuring new and existing members are receiving the benefits they are entitled. It shall work with the Communications committee to notify all new and existing members of programs, events and opportunities available to them on a regular basis and ensure the website is updated to reflect all member-driven events and opportunities. It shall emphasize member-to-member interaction. It shall conduct quarterly membership orientations for new members. It shall conduct monthly membership mixers to recruit new members and encourage involvement and participation. It shall work with the President and CEO to establish and grow all chapters in Texas.

LEGISLATIVE AFFAIRS

The Legislative Committee is responsible for keeping the Board of Directors, President and CEO, Communications and Membership committee abreast of all legislative matters affecting the organization. It shall stay abreast of all local, county, state, federal and international legislative updates. It shall work with the Fund Development committee to seek funding from these sources.
