TBA target membership mirrors industries with MWBE underrepresentation:

Texas Business Alliance was created to be a solution to the challenges that minority- and women-owned business face daily. We believe growth opportunities for MWBEs are limitless. However, we understand the historic, cultural and educational boundaries that have slowed progression. Our approach is direct, proactive and bold. The health and long-term wellbeing of our economy depends on it.

Our aim is simple. Connect prepared minority- and women-owned suppliers directly with opportunities.

Here’s how we do it…

We are a membership-based, small business development, 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization. We are a 100 percent MWBE and youth development program-driven organization.

We identify the industry-specific supplier needs of our partners and prepare MWBEs to meet these needs whether collectively through joint venture partnerships or individually. We also ignite in our youth a fire for entrepreneurialism and educate them on the basis of business ownership.

We operate by a set of values that guide how we conduct our business: Community and Collaboration, Diversity, Integrity, Responsibility, Success, Excellence and Opportunity/Innovation.

As our values bear out, we cannot accomplish anything in a vacuum. We believe it necessary that everyone involved with creating a pipeline of MWBEs come together collaboratively and efficiently. We all have a role. The certifiers, advocates, awareness makers and educators are needed. Our role is one of collaborator, industry-specific education, barrier-remover and connector.

Together, we create a mosaic necessary to speed the preparedness of MWBEs and our youth for success.
