The Prime Objective

The ‘Prime’ Objective™ encourages and prepares minority suppliers to partner together and bid on projects, which independently each may not qualify for.

Goal:

Develop vibrant and sustainable minority- and women-owned businesses, by encouraging MWBE suppliers to partner together with another business, preferably minority, to bid on larger projects.

Target:

Industry-specific, three plus years in business, minority- and women-owned businesses with at least $150,000 or more in revenue.

Logistics:

TBA will establish a joint venture partnership credential, which qualifies a supplier to seek out and establish a partnership agreement from our list of certified, minority- and women-owned small businesses and other primes/companies that are seeking minority suppliers to partner with on opportunities.

Minority- and women-owned suppliers are required to complete an application and three-month qualifications program. TBA will identify primes that have the capacity and desire to partner or allow subcontract opportunities. TBA will reach out to primes and public/private sector businesses regarding all opportunities that are available and provide capital access to fund the projects. TBA will ensure that participants have met the necessary qualifications to begin the joint venture partnership process with full knowledge and preparedness.
